Privacy Policy

Short version up top, the longer breakdown below. We try not to collect much. The points balance lives in your browser, not on our servers — clear cookies and it's gone, which means we never had it. Most of the rest is whatever your browser hands over when you open a webpage.

What we actually store

Three things. Your age confirmation (so the gate doesn't pop up every time you load the page), your cookie preference (accept or decline), and your in-game points balance. All three sit in localStorage — a little box inside your own browser. We can't read it from our end. If you want to wipe everything, clear your site data and the slate is empty.

What we don't store

• Your name, email, address, or phone — we don't have a signup form.
• Payment info — there's nothing to pay for.
• Real identity — Patkestop doesn't ask, doesn't want, doesn't keep.
• Anything that could be sold to a data broker.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of cookies (preferences plus light analytics) to see how many people land here and which pages get read. The cookie banner gives you a yes/no on the analytics ones — if you decline, only the technical cookies stay. Detail's in the cookies policy.

Third parties

The site loads Google Fonts and links out to harm-reduction partners (GambleAware, GamblingTherapy, etc.). When you click those links, you leave our site and their privacy rules take over. We don't share data with advertisers because, frankly, we don't have much to share.

Your rights

If you're in the EEA, UK, or somewhere with similar rules, you can ask us to delete or hand over whatever data we hold about you. The honest answer is usually “we don't have any” — but if you'd like that confirmed in writing, drop a note to [email protected] and we'll reply within thirty days.

Changes to this policy

If the rules change, the Last updated field at the top of this page changes too. Big changes get a banner notice on the homepage for a couple of weeks. We're not going to bury anything important in the small print.
